Beverly “Morena” Martinez, 58, of Evans, passed away from this life on May 20, 2019 in Loveland, Colorado. She was born to Luciano and Lucia (Sanchez) Martinez on August 29, 1960 in Greeley, Colorado.
Bev was raised in Kersey throughout her childhood until high school. She attended Platte Valley High School in Kersey. She lived in the northern Colorado area the majority of her life before settling in Evans, Colorado.
Anyone that knew Bev, knew her love was serving our Lord and Savior and spreading His word to everyone she meets. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and met her.
Beverly’s number one priority was her faith and her family. Beverly also enjoyed cooking Mexican food, listening and singing gospel music and being around family and friends. She enjoyed going around town with her church group (City Share) and talking about the good Lord.
Bev is survived by her children, Jesse Salazar, Adam Salazar and Oscar Franco Jr (Angelica); 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild; siblings, Irene Martinez, Tom Martinez (Ginny), Ivan Martinez, Leroy Martinez, Judy Salgado (Victor), Teresa Hall (James) and Steven Martinez (Betty), and a large extended family and friends.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Freddie Martinez and nephew, Erik Martinez.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. Life Celebration Service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at First Assembly of God, 3000 16th Street in Greeley.
