Obituary of Vince J Lechman
Vince Joseph Lechman, 86, of Greeley, passed away on April 4, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Adam and Regina (Schmidt) Lechman on January 24, 1936 in Atwood, Colorado.
He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
During high school, he participated in football, baseball, basketball and track.
Vince met and later married the love of his life, Regina Stieb on November 12, 1960 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Sterling, Colorado.
He was a hard worker and worked a lot to provide for his family. He worked for Mountain Bell for 34 years before retiring. He also ran his own lawn care service, Lechman Lawn Care. He was a devoted Bronco fan and was a season ticket holder. Above all he adored his family and loved his Lord and savior.
Vince is survived by his wife of 62 years, Regina; children, Vincenne (Angelo) Shevlin, Vaughn (Lynne) Lechman, Vance Lechman and V.J Lechman; grandchildren, Landen, Morgan, Travis and Kayla; siblings, Leanne (Michael) Thoma, Gary (Harriatte) Lechman, Kathy (Bob) Truitt and Becky (Larry) Guette; many other nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Kris Sanger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Stanley, Ed, Janet, Deloris, Raymond, Elmer, Catherine, Clara and Billie.
