ENGLISH OBITUARY FOR ULISES ZUBIA HERNANDEZ

Ulises “Chapito” Zubia Hernandez, the most humble, kind, and caring soul. Only 22 years young from Greeley, Colorado. Passed away on June 29th, 2022, in Meeker, Colorado. He was born December 8th, 1999, to Manuela Hernandez and Jose Zubia in Denver, Colorado. Ulises attended elementary and middle school in Chihuahua, MX. He was an A straight student, all his school years. The family moved back to Colorado and Ulises graduated from Valley High School in 2018, where he played soccer. After graduating high school, Ulises went on to work as a Floor Hand in the oilfield. Everyone knew what a hard worker he was. Never complained about anything always did what he was told. 

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing video games on his ps4 with his twin brother and friends. Also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports games, especially the Denver Broncos. He really enjoyed dancing and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and had plans to visit the beach more often. 

Ulises is survived by his parents Manuela Hernandez and Jose Zubia, his twin brother Aaron Zubia Hernandez, his girlfriend Heidy Ortega, several cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and many more friends.

He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Nestor Hernandez.

A visitation will be held Friday July 8th, 2022, from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at Adamson Life Celebration Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Platteville. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ulises “Chapito” Zubia Hernandez el alma más humilde, amable y cariñosa. Solo 22 años joven de Greeley, Colorado. Falleció el 29 de Junio del 2022 en Meeker, Colorado. Nació el 8 de Diciembre del 1999 en Denver, Colorado, hijo de Manuela Hernández y José Zubia. Ulises asistió a la escuela primaria y secundaria en Chihuahua, México. Fue un excelente estudiante todos sus años escolares. La familia regresó a Colorado y Ulises se graduó de Valley High School en el 2018, donde jugó fútbol. Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria, Ulises pasó a trabajar como mano de piso en el campo petrolero. Todo el mundo sabía lo trabajador que era. Nunca se quejó de nada, siempre hizo lo que le dijeron. 

Le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Le encantaba jugar videojuegos en su ps4 con su hermano gemelo y sus amigos. También disfrutaba ver todo tipo de juegos deportivos, especialmente los Denver Broncos. Le encantaba salir a bailar y estando al aire libre. Le gustaba pescar y tenía planes de visitar la playa más a seguido.

A Ulises le sobreviven sus padres Manuela Hernández y José Zubia, su hermano gemelo Aarón Zubia Hernández, su novia Heidy Ortega, varios primos, tías, tíos, abuelos y muchos más amigos.

Le precede en la muerte su abuelo Néstor Hernández.

Se llevará a cabo una visitación el Viernes, 8 de Julio del 2022, desde las 5 p.m. hasta las 7:30 p.m., seguida por la Recitación del Rosario en Adamson Life Celebration Home. Una Misa de Entierro Cristiano se llevará a cabo a las 1 p.m., Sábado en la Iglesia Católica de St. Nicholas, Platteville. El entierro será en Sunset Memorial Gardens.
