To me Charley was always Charles. I remember when I first met him and he introduced himself as Charles. I asked him if he always goes by Charles or if there is another name he preferred. He laughed, said not really. I answer to Charles, Charley, and I even answered to Chuck a couple times. I teased that I would call him Chuck. He did not like that and said it sounded to simpleton. So, I said I would just call him Charles. And so it was, I called him Charles from day one. We had some special times, happy times, and hard times. I know I will see Charles again when I enter eternity someday. Until then, I will hold the memories in my heart.
