Ruth Raymond

Obituary of Ruth Ann Raymond

Ruth Ann Raymond, 62, passed away on the afternoon of April 21st after a long battle with breast cancer.

Ruth was born in Grand Junction Colorado to parents Dwayne and Beverly Gail “Brown” Stuller on June 15th 1960.

Ruth has two children that she has always been proud of, Matthew Wayne Wells and Amanda Ann Harvey.

In 1984 Ruth moved to Colorado Springs. As a single parent she put herself through night school and earned a degree in computer software. Being a very hard worker, Ruth eventually used that degree and became co-owner of TCR Software Consulting Company.

Ruth was a very generous person with her time and money. She was always donating money to great causes she believed in and often gave to friends and family. She volunteered several times with the University of Northern Colorado on archaeological digs in Deerfield, CO.

Ruth was a bold and very brave person and never scared to try new things! “Go big or go home” she would say.

Later in life she got her SCUBA certification and loved exploring coral reefs in the Caribbean with her sister Deanna.

She loved to play as well as watch golf. She also loved horses all her life; and would make it a point to watch the Kentucky Derby every year and talk about it with her son Matthew.

Ruth is survived by her mother Beverly Gail Stuller, her sister Deanna Eads, her son Matthew Wells, daughter Amanda Harvey, her daughter-in-law Tracy Wells, grandchildren Jakobi Wells, Riley Wells, Wyatt Harvey, and Weston Harvey.

Ruth kept her sense of humor all the way to the end and was very thankful to the doctors and nurses who treated her in her final days.

She will be very missed.

Services may be planned for a later date.
