Kelsey Tait

Obituary of Kelsey Marie Tait

Kelsey Marie Tait, 29, of Evans, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loved ones on June 4th.

Kelsey was born on October 4th, 1993, to John Tait and Denise Heinz.

In her childhood, Kelsey was known by many to be a shy and quiet child. She enjoyed staying indoors, hanging out with her older siblings and reading. As she got older, she became more interested in trying things outside of her comfort zone. In high school, as a freshman, she tried out for the cheerleading squad. She cheered all four years of high school and was captain her junior and senior years. Also, during this time Kelsey participated with the Northern Colorado Allstars competition cheer team. By graduation she had developed a bubbly, spirited, loving personality, where no form of darkness could ever dim her light.

After Kelsey graduated from Eaton High School in 2012, she spent a couple years gaining experience working at Dairy Queen alongside two of her cousins and many of her friends allowing her to create lasting memories. She later went to work as a Phlebotomist for many years gaining experience in the medical field. Most recently, working for JBS Corporate in customer service. In her free time, Kelsey enjoyed attending concerts, spending time with her family, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

In 2020, Kelsey met the love of her life and best friend, Bradlee Malone, through a mutual friend. Together Kelsey and Bradlee cared for their three fur-babies: Thea, Asher, and Pepper and were building their future together in their new home.

Kelsey will be remembered to be the one person you could always count on to see the bright side of any situation, make your bad days turn into happy days, she also had the most contagious smile around.

Kelsey will be greatly missed by the love of her life, Bradlee Malone; her parents, John Tait of Greeley and Denise Heinz of Ault; her sisters, Tara Hendrix (Kyle) of Greeley and Amber Lancaster (Jonathon) of Greeley; her grandpa, Gary Mason of Eaton; her aunts Tammy Fisher of Greeley, Tammy Thompson of Illinois, Peggy Harper (Roy) of Wyoming, Becky Tait Romero of Sterling; her uncles Rick Mason of Utah, Don Tait (Sandy) of Red Feathers, Larry Tait (Beverly) of Greeley; ten nieces and nephews and many cousins.
