Obituary of Leonard Wayne Bossley

Leonard Wayne Bossley, 83, died September 2^nd, 2023. He passed away at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO as a result of a heart attack.

Leonard was born June 26^th, 1940 in Crowley, LA. He was the son of Woodrow Bossley and Florence Sensat.

Leonard was raised in the deep southern town of Crowley, LA with his brother Ronald or Bubby for short. He graduated from St Michael High School where he played football and ran track.

He joined the Air Force and was stationed in Cheyenne, WY where he met his wife of 60 years, Flora Talmadge. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force after 4 years and they moved to Louisiana where they stayed for seven years before moving to Colorado. He worked for Conoco Oil Company for 28 years and then retired.

He leaves behind his loving wife Flora, three children: Vicki (Roger), Mike and David (Thuy) and six grandchildren Gabby, Ryan (Rachel), Constance, Adam (Molly), Kryd and Hannah.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother and is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A viewing will be held Monday, September 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary being at 7:00 p.m., at Adamson Life Celebration Home at 2000 47^th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634 on.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 12th at St. John’s Catholic Church at 1000 Country Acres Dr., Johnstown, CO 80534 at 12:00 p.m., followed by burial at the Johnstown Cemetery.
