Obituary of Peggy Jean Murry

Peggy Jean Murry, 67, of Loveland passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins.  She was born July 31, 1956, in Greeley to Victor and Patricia (Daugherty) Reynolds.  Peggy grew up in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1974. Growing up they lived at the Windsor reservoir where her dad worked as the ditch rider.  As a family they raised and showed goats, horses, and dogs. Peggy continued showing dogs and horses her whole life. She loved animals, which led her to become involved with 4-H as a leader for dog training.  She was also involved with showing dogs in AKC confirmation, obedience, and field trials.

She was very active with her church, was an ambassador, and involved in the Women’s Ministry. She enjoyed the small groups especially with sewing Dress A Girl dresses and Compassion quilts.  

Peggy worked for Hewlett Packard, which inspired her to get a mechanical engineering from Colorado State University. She then worked as an engineer at Woodward Governor, and most recently was working at Medtronic where she was loved and admired for the last 24 years.  

Peggy is survived by her sisters; Becky Ann Smith of South Carolina, Jenny Lou Reynolds of Washington and Kelly Sue Kerschen and husband Robert of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3:00p.m. at Foundations Church in Windsor.  Peggy loved her jeans and tee shirts so come dressed casually. Memorial contributions may be made to Foundation Church, 1159 Main Street, Windsor, Co
