Obituary of Charles Everett Rybar
On September 5th, we said goodbye to Charles Everett Rybar. He was a Dad, Son, Brother, Grandpa, Papa and Friend to so many and he will be deeply missed.
Chuck was born on March 8, 1948 to George and Betty Rybar. He grew up with 5 brothers and sisters, Gloria, George Jr., Jim, Terry and Julie at their home in Bellevue, NE where his dad still lives. After attending college with aspirations of becoming a marine biologist, he found an interest and skill for respiratory therapy, which was a new field at the time. He went on to build two businesses with his dear friends and serve his community by caring for patients who needed respiratory care.
Chuck had three daughters, Marisa, Alicia and Lindsay, and three grandchildren, John, Lucia and Claire, whom he loved with all his heart. He valued and honored family and friends through his kindness, generosity and loyalty. Anyone who knew him considered him family, as he did them.
Chuck will be remembered for his strength - of body and will - and for his warm smile. He loved to garden all summer and gift his delicious tomatoes to anyone he met - lots of tomatoes! He loved woodworking, reading, fishing, flowers, plants, traveling and sitting with good friends and family laughing and smoking cigars.
We will be celebrating Chuck's life on September 15th and invite anyone who loved him to celebrate together with us.
