Obituary of Gary Fred Heinze

Gary Fred Heinze, 67, of Loveland, formerly of Greeley, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 in Loveland.  He was born November 25, 1955 in Gill, CO to Fred and Genevieve (Winnick) Heinze.  Gary grew up in the Northern Colorado area and attend school in Eaton and in Ault.  He graduated from Highland High School in 1973.  He worked as a farmer with his dad and brother until 1982.  He then worked for the City of Greeley in the water treatment department until the time of his passing.  Gary was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, old western movies, he loved all sports, was very “techy” and most of all, loved spending time with his granddaughter.   

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Blach and husband Casey of Eaton; granddaughter, Maddy Blach of Eaton; and brother, Stan Heinze and wife Carolyn of Ault.  He was proceeded in death by his parents and his ex-wife, Roberta Heinze. 

A Life Celebration will be held at 10:30a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor.  A private family inurnment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor.  Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 W. 47^th Ave., Greeley, CO  80634.
