Obituary of Edania Irene Naranjo-Alfaro
Edania Irene Naranjo-Alfaro, 64, of Greeley passed away September 7, 2023 in Johnstown after a short illness. She was born November 7, 1958 in Plainview, TX to Oneismo and Trinidad (Pena) Naranjo.
Irene was raised in Loveland, CO and Patterson, CA where she received her education.
On February 14, 2012, she married Gilbert Alfaro in Greeley.
Irene was a homemaker, active reader, loved spending time with her family, kids and grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Alfaro, children; George (Melissa) Naranjo, Roy (Toni) Naranjo, Latoya Rodriguez, Lupe (Angel Crespin) Rodriguez, Jr. and Tish (Devin Torres) Rodriguez all of Greeley, 12 grandchildren; George Jr., Estrella, Cruz, Skylla, Gia Naranjo, Destiny, Ava, Lorenzo and Liliana Rodriguez, Sisqo, Jordan, Areina Naranjo, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings; Rojorio and Juan Naranjo, Carmen Montalbo, Olga Morales, Mary Naranjo, Emma (Omar) Pedraza and San Juana Talamantes, her sister-in-law, Myra Naranjo and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Oneismo Jr., Arturo and Reynaldo.
Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday with Recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. at Adamson. Life Celebration 11 a.m. Thursday at Adamson. Interment Evans Cemetery. Reception to follow at Kimberly’s Event Center on 8th Avenue. Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com.
