Obituary of Marjorie Elaine Lapp

Marjorie “Marge” Elaine Lapp, 69 of Greeley CO, passed away on Wednesday September 27th, 2023, at her home surrounded by family and friends.  Marge was a dedicated PSA rep for Banner Health for 14 years and loved her job.  Marge was an avid local sports fan rooting on the professional and amateur teams, the Denver Broncos being her most favorite.  She was a volunteer for the Greeley Stampede Wranglers and 9-Health Fair for numerous years.  Marge, was an active member at Faith Bible Baptist Church in Greeley, CO, and enjoyed spending time outdoors at the cabin at Red Feather Lakes, her friend’s house in Silver Cliff, and anytime, anywhere with her family.

Marjorie was born on July 11th, 1954, in Greeley, CO to Vernon and Carleen Biggs. She was married to Ron Lapp the love of her life on December 8th, 1973.

Marge is survived by her daughter Angel (Leiton) Powell of Evans, CO, sons Matthew (Brandy) Lapp of Loveland, CO and Michael (Sherri) Lapp of Greeley, CO, 9 grand-children Lexi, Kim, Josh, Geoffrey (wife Riley), Kiarra, Cadence, Jaeda, Kelsey and Lincoln, and 1 great-grandchild due in April.  She is also survived by her sister Bessie (Ken) Curtis of Stinnett, TX, sister-in-law Sue Biggs of New York, father-in-law George (Joy) Lapp of Dumas, Texas, brother-in-law Tim (Janel) Lapp of Forney, Texas, brother-in-law Don (Diane) Lapp of Bolivar, Ohio, along with numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces and cousins, best friend Debbie King of Silver Cliff, CO.  She was proceeded in death by her husband Ronald Lapp, parents Vernon (Pug) and Carleen Biggs, mother-in-law Pauline Lapp, brother Jim Biggs and sister-in-law Kathy Lapp. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Faith Bible Baptist Church 320 35^th Ave in Greeley, CO, October 7th, 2023 at 3:00pm.  Fellowship to follow.  Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude in her memory.
